Although glucose is vital to your health as an important source of energy for your body and your brain's main source of fuel, too much glucose in your blood can lead to serious health problems.

When you feel tired after eating a heavy meal, what you consumed was probably high glycemic. High glycemic foods produce a quick rise and quick dip in your glucose levels in the 2-3 hours after you eat. In contrast, low glycemic foods help to sustain energy longer, with a gradual rise and fall in your glucose levels.

A CGM is a small non-invasive sensor that is applied to the back of your arm and stays there, even while you’re showering or working out. It measures your glucose levels 24 hours a day.

Tastermonial offers an affordable way to purchase Abbott Freestyle Libre 3 sensorsat your local pharmacy by providing you with a prescription (Rx). Alternatively, if you prefer to pay out of pocket (HSA/FSA card accepted), we also offer a convenient way to get Abbott Freestyle LIbre CGMs ship to you on a monthly basis. The latest Libre 3 model measures minute-by-minute your glucose levels continuously 24/7 for 14 days and do not require a regular scanning on the sensor.

An array of low-glycemic pantry foods and functional snacks that have been screened using our strict ingredient standards. Occasionally, we also offer blood-sugar reduction supplements for testing.

The Tastermonial app lets you log what you eat, and syncs data from your CGM with that log, showing the results in the app. You gain insight into your body’s glucose responses to food, with further analysis by our team providing insight into your glucose patterns relative to others.

If you have an FSA or HSA affiliated with a major credit card, you can use your card to purchase CGM sensors (a discounted price) and pay for your prescription.

We do not accept insurance with the purchase of your CGM sensors directly through us. However, you can order the prescription only from us and purchase the CGM sensors at your local pharmacy. The price you pay for a sensor at your local pharmacy will depend on your insurance coverage. Sometimes, you'll get a better price by not using your insurance but the GoodRx Coupon to get up to 50% reduction. The typical out-of-pocket cost for a sensor in major pharmacies range from $65 to $90.
